At Joint Initiative Physiotherapy, we offer transparent pricing and flexible appointment options to support your recovery.

Virtual Sessions & Home Visits

We also offer virtual physiotherapy sessions and home visits for clients who are unable to attend the clinic. These appointments can be arranged by contacting us directly via phone, email, or our online contact form. Pricing and availability will be discussed at the time of booking.

Booking & Payment Policy

Booking Appointments

  • All in-clinic appointments are booked through our secure online booking system.

  • Virtual sessions and home visits are available on request and can be arranged by contacting us directly. Availability, duration, and pricing will be discussed at the time of booking.

  • We recommend booking early to secure your preferred time.

Payment

50% Deposit at Booking (Minimum Required)

  • A 50% deposit is required when booking any appointment. This deposit secures your session.

  • To give clients flexibility and control over their payments, you are welcome to pay the full appointment fee upfront if you prefer — the 50% deposit is simply the minimum required to reserve your appointment.

  • Deposits or full payments upfront are refundable if your appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance.

  • Deposits or full payments upfront are forfeited if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend your session.

Remaining Balance & Add-Ons

  • If only the deposit is paid at booking, the remaining balance will be invoiced during or after your appointment, and can be settled either in person or online.

  • Any add-on treatments (such as acupuncture, dry needling, or taping) decided on the day will be added to this final payment.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • All payments are completed online via credit or debit card using our secure Stripe system.

Appointment Confirmation, Rescheduling & Cancellation

  • A confirmation email is sent automatically once an appointment is booked.

  • Your confirmation email includes direct links to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Alternatively, you can contact us directly.

  • Please retain this email for easy access to your booking management.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time, or non-attendance, will result in the deposit being charged as the cancellation fee.

Preparing for Your Appointment

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows your physiotherapist to assess and treat the affected area.

  • If you have a lower limb or walking/running-related injury, please bring suitable footwear such as walking or sports shoes.

  • Bring any relevant medical notes or scan results (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound) if available.

  • Please arrive a few minutes early to complete any necessary forms.
